Metrobank Plaza, PRC

2007 | Shanghai, People's Republic of China

The Metrobank Plaza in Shanghai was designed as a mixed-use office and residential development. It was designed in 2005 and was finished in 2007. It was designed as two towers within a single curtain wall envelope. Looking from the outside, it can be seen as one whole building structure. On the inside, there are two separate cores, each for the specific building’s use with its own separate entrance.

The residential tower is called Baguio Mansion and has a total of 25 floors while the office tower houses 21 floors. The sleek and modern look of the glass facade is one of the main selling points of the residential units.
